Story
I have been set a challenge to raise money for a charity over the summer period. Furthermore, I have recently completed my level 2 bikeability training at school, so I thought this would be a fun and interesting way to participate. I'm not a confident cyclist and wanted a challenge. I also get to see most of the amazing sights in London!
Encephalitis is when the brain gets damaged as a result of an infection. No-one knows why some people get it whilst others do not. My Dad is a member of the panel that reviews patient information and research proposals. The Society helps support people who have survived encephalitis and also their families. They also help pay for research into causes, treatment and quality of life after encephalitis.
