Yes I'm mad, yes I'm doing it again! Why.. well 2 years ago, I fell off so technically missed out about 15 miles so it's only fair I go back & tackle this beast of a ride one more time! 

As an added bonus I have now managed to convince friends James, Jane and John to join me (Team JJJJ?!).

What other musings do I want to share with you.... well i'm 41 reasonably active and whilst I am still in control of my faculties it seems perfectly good sense I put them to use in order to help others and make the world around me a better place. We are all human beings and no matter where we come from, we should all have a good chance at life. Most of us are probably quite fortunate and very lucky to have never experienced the atrocities we see around the world - something we should always be thankful for.

Spending the whole summer training, then Cycling the length of the country may not be for you, but perhaps seeing me nail this challenge may inspire you to click a button and take the easier option of sponsoring me a few shiny pounds as your support to making the world a better place.

All money I raise will go to the Vodafone Charity the "Vodafone Foundation to help support refugees. Vodafone will also MATCH every single pound I raise so keep it rolling in!

With one in every 113 people in the world currently forcibly displaced from their homes due to conflict or natural disaster, we are experiencing the largest refugee crisis since the second world war.The Vodafone Foundation wants to continue to show its support for families and individuals in need.

This year the Vodafone Foundation aims to raise £1million to support refugees by building on 4 years of Vodafone support for refugees with the United Nations High Commissioner of Refugees (UNHCR) across Africa and Europe and 13 year with French charity Telecoms Sans Frontiers. All funds raised will go to UNHCR & Europes largest distributor of aid, Help Refugees.
