Story
My name is Jessica and as many of you know, the Severn hospice is very close to my heart. This is why I have decided to organise a raffle in order help raise money for this particular charity during the current covid-19 pandemic.
The Severn hospice is a charity run organisation that provides care to patients in Shropshire who are living with a terminal illness.
As the hospice heavily relies on fundraising in order to be able to provide the service that they do, the covid-19 pandemic has had an instant impact on the ability to be able to generate the income needed.
All of the Severn hospice charity shops have now had to close and all fundraising events have been cancelled in order to follow the current government guidelines. It has been calculated that £100,000 of charitable income is now being lost weekly.
However, patients living with incurable illnesses still require the specialist care which the Severn hospice is still providing both in the inpatient setting and out in the community.
In order to try and fund raise for the hospice, I have decided to organise a raffle in which all proceeds will go directly to the Severn hospice. I have contacted local businesses who have kindly donated some amazing prizes for this particular fundraiser. I am overwhelmed with everyone’s kindness!

If you would like to purchase tickets, please pay for the amount of tickets you would like via this just giving page (money will go directly to the hospice). When you have done so please message me directly on Facebook/Instagram or email me at jessicarimmer91@hotmail.com letting me know how many tickets you have purchased (a screenshot of your payment would be great) and in return I will fill out your raffle tickets and send you a photo back containing your raffle ticket numbers.
*I will only be able to allocate you a raffle ticket once you have directly contacted my via the above methods as I am unable to contact people via this just giving page*
The raffle will be drawn on Saturday 30th May.
Thankyou for your support, as without it, charities like the Severn hospice wouldn’t be able to offer the amazing support that they do!

Severn Hospice is with families from the moment they're referred to its care for as long as they need it, and it does this every day, all day for anyone in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales who needs that help.It does this for them for free, but it is not without cost and it can't happen without you.For every £1 you donate, they will spend 86p directly on care - and use the remaining 14p to make another £1.Last year, all those individual donations helped us provide £9.88 million of caring services.Thank you - you're amazing!
