Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.

I am so thankful to be awarded a charity place in the VLM2017 by Marie Curie, a charity who help to care for the terminally ill.
March 2016 my Wonderful, brilliant Dad lost his long battle with cancer. Not a day goes by that I don't miss him. I hope you never need to understand just how great the people are at Marie Curie but sadly some will. A kind, knowledgable person in your home to hold you up when the world is crashing down, so no one is ever alone, and these people do this on a daily basis, for hundreds of terminally ill and call it work - incredible human beings!

I want to give something back, time, energy, blood, sweat, tears, blisters will be worth it to raise funds for this excellent group of people. Any amount you can give will be gratefully received, I occasionally like to run but let's face it, who is going to enjoy running 26.2 miles - that is Monmouth to Newport!! I promise to keep you up to date with how my training is going and look out for some exciting fundraising events!

Thanks for your time (and cash please? ;))
A very scared but determined, Jo x
