Story

I am a former Grenadier Guardsman who was shot in the head whilst serving in Afghanistan which resulted in the following injuries;

Loss of eye sight in my right eye, being paralysed down my left side of my body and I lost part of the right side of my head, which has left me with a brain injury. I have had my right side of my head reconstructed and after five years I have gone from not being able to walk and having to use a wheel chair to being able to walk and I feel that this will be a massive challenge as I still can't use my left arm and have problems down my left side.

I have chosen the Col's Fund as they are my Regimental Charity that has helped me throughout my journey of recovery.
