John and myself are doing a cycle ride for this charity on 6/7th October 2016, due to the outstanding level of care that his and Mandy's (John's incredibly long suffering wife) daughter Layla received in October 2015, after being born on the 2nd October in Bronglais Hospital, she found herself needing open heart surgery for pulmonary hypertension and transposition of the great arteries, and was transferred to Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, where she had her procedure to swap her arteries over on the 7th, at just 5 days old. The care she and the family received, both pre and post op was outstanding, and we want to give something back!

John is one of my closest friends, and we have already had a lot of interest and support so we decided to do something for the hospital, arriving after our ride on the 1 year anniversary of Layla having her operation!

Neither of us are athletes, but we have started our training and welcome any support along the way!!
