As many of you will know, I lost my wife, Christine, to Alzheimer’s Disease in 2017. I believe that research into this horrible disease is inadequate and I want to do all I can to help with funding. I have therefore decided to enter this year’s Great North Run and I am looking to raise sponsorship. It is the first GNR I have entered for many years and I don’t expect to match past glories but, with your support, I will get round, even if I have to crawl the last few miles.
