Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Dad was diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer in the summer of 2014. He had a relatively good 18 months of life following treatment but, when he knew the end was nearing last July, he dearly wanted to stay at home for his last days. This was only made possible through the amazing work and support from the nurses at Sue Ryder, Nettlebed.

Dad loved music and I've chosen to try and raise money by keeping my piano played for a full 12 hours on March 4th 2017 from 8am to 8pm. I'll have a little help from some piano pupils who are working towards their exams - some extra practise time for their grades 5, 6 and 8 - plus a duet hour when a friend comes to join me. I am pledging to play for a minimum of 7 of the 12 hours.

You will be able to check progress on the day by following this link to a live stream of the playing online - www.facebook.com/julie.fulton.10
