Story
On Saturday 17th June I shall be doing a 151 foot abseil from Meldon Viaduct in Devon to raise much needed funds for Brain Tumour Research. I am doing this in memory of a brave and truly inspirational guy that I have the privilege to call my brother.
Adam was first diagnosed with a brain tumour in January 2013 after suffering from severe headaches. After two operations, several weeks in hospital and 6 weeks of radiotherapy he was given the all clear in July 2013. He returned to work, started to drive again and travelled the world on many holidays. This continued for two years until the summer of 2015 when he became unwell and it was confirmed that the tumour was back and this time it had spread.
Adam lost his fight in October 2015 a week after his 29th birthday.
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under 40 than any other cancer but just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.
Thank you for your support from the bottom of my heart.
