Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page to sponsor me on my first half marathon.

I'm taking part in the Great North Run in loving memory of the most amazing headteacher and friend, Sally Wood. I am running on behalf of all my pupil's and fellow colleagues as we all really wanted to raise some money for Hospice Care North Northumberland. They provided so much care and support for our wonderful head teacher and her amazing family, when she was diagnosed with a brain tumour last year and we want to give something back to this fantastic charity. 

Now it's up to me to get training (it's been two years since I last ran) and get set for race day. But I'm so pleased to be running for such a great cause so close to all our hearts. Wish me luck, I think I'm going to need it!
