Run Bournemouth Half Marathon 2021 · 10 October 2021 ·

Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma. We provide information and support to patients and their families and help myeloma patients live longer, with a better quality of life by accelerating the discovery, development of and access to new treatments.

Story

As many of you know, Jeremy was always a keen runner. It was his go-to sport.

In a bid to collect another medal on his behalf we'll be running the Bournemouth Half Marathon on Sunday 10 October.

The last running event JB completed was this exact run in 2019. Amazingly, considering it was just 14 months after his stem cell transplant, he crossed the finish line in 1 hour 45 minutes and 11 seconds.

We can’t promise to run as fast as he did, but we would like to match his time in money by raising £1,451.10.

On JB's team is me, his wife Kerry Baggott (aka Mrs B) and the our precious friend (and bridesmaid!) Caroline Roberts.

Please support us as we follow in JB's running footsteps while raising money for Myeloma UK in a bid to help multiple myeloma patients and ultimately find a cure for this horrific and rare blood cancer.
