Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Team LUCKili (Ladies of Uckfield Climb Kili) members are: Tammy Trauntner, Valerie Williams, Celine Woods, Angharad Smith, Vicky Revill-Whelan, Carine Roberts, Linda Salter and Cathy Dooris.

In 2014, several team members completed the 3 Peaks challenge and since then the challenges have got harder and bigger. With injuries 'mounting' up and age definitely not on our side, we've decided to go extra large and hike to the peak of Kilimanjaro in February 2017.

As this is such a huge challenge, we've decided to raise money along the way for Chestnut Tree House, a local children's charity that provides hospice and community support for children with progressive life-shortening conditions.

Please note, every team member has personally paid for their entire 'experience', so all money donated on this site will go to Chestnut Tree House.

About the charity

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age every year, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.
