We are an ordinary bunch of Mums who have extraordinary children. Our extraordinary babies could not wait to meet us when they born, so came early, or were born unwell.

We all shared our experience at Queen Alexandra Hospitals Neo Natal Unit in Portsmouth. Our babies Everly, Reeva, Saskia, Maxwell, Matthew and Oliver were all cared for at the NICU during the first few days/weeks/months of their lives.

Without the Neonatal Unit and the staff that work there, our babies would have experienced a very different entrance into this world.

It saddens us that the Neonatal Unit has a lack of funding and they are currently struggling to afford many things, like new incubators. Many of which need to be replaced soon. These incubators cost from £15,000 each! A Monitor costs £10,000 and a ventilator £25,000! 

We know we won’t be able to afford an incubator but we have decided that we would like to fundraise to help the Neonatal Unit as much as we can so that more babies like ours can be cared for in the exemplary way that ours were.

We will be taking part in a 5k Inflatable Fun Run on Saturday 21st July 2018. This challenge involves Europe’s biggest ever inflatable slide and some of the most epic inflatable obstacles in the world!

We are not athletes, we are new mums, so this will be a heck of a challenge!

Please help us by digging deep and making a donation to our worthy cause! Every little will help the unit as they have a list of many things, even small items that we could buy to help other families who need to use the unit with their new babies.
