Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have signed up to take part in another challenge which is sure to get my heart pumping! Last year I completed Total Warrior, which was 30 punishing obstacles over a 12k distance. There was a lot of mud along the way too!

This year I am going one BIG step further and will be taking part in Rat Race on the 6th May. There are a whopping 200 obstacles over a 20mile distance to overcome.

Like last year, I am determined to push myself further following the massive support and generous donations from friends, family and even strangers. Heartbeat is solely funded by it's own fundraising and donations from supporters and do not at present receive any external funding from the NHS or Government, so if I can do something to help I will be happy.

Heartbeat is the North West's leading cardiac rehabilitation charity, providing services for over 700 people each week and has supported heart patients, my Grandpa included, and those at risk for over 35 years.

Donating £5 will contribute to a cholesterol test. Donating £10 will contribute to a treadmill test. Donating £15 will contribute to an ECG test for a child.
