Welsh 3000's · 2 July 2016

We support thousands of people living with terminal illnesses & their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. We need to raise £12.7 million this year to provide our services free of charge – we can’t do it without you!

Story

Last year we completed The National Three Peaks for ForChrons.  This year we are upping the ante and taking on the Welsh 3000's for The Myton Hospices.  This is a great, local charity that does amazing work for our elderly friends & neighbours.  Full details can be found here: http://www.mytonhospice.org/

The Welsh 3000's was originally an army challenge which is a huge step up and involves a lot of training.  We will be walking / jogging for 24 hours through day, night, wind and rain to climb all 14 of Wales' mountains over 3000 feet.  Please have a look and take note of the opening line...   http://www.welsh3000s.co.uk/

"it’s extremely tough, and is a big step up from something like the “Three Peaks Challenge”. It’s only suitable for very fit and experienced mountain walkers."

Please dig deep...

For the record, this challenge is totally self-funded.  None of your donations will contribute towards our expedition.  Accommodation, equipment and travel will all be funded by us.  Your money goes straight to The Myton Hospice.
