Please join me in my fundraiser benefitting the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. Just as inflation has raised prices at the grocery story, its also impacted the Food Banks costs to make fresh, healthy, culturally responsive produce available to those who need them most. With our help, the Food Bank can purchase the foods most in demand by their agencies at a lower cost; pay the costs of transporting and processing foods donated by farms and retailers; and purchase more fresh, local, produce and culturally relevant foods such as avocados, limes, bok choy and taro root.
