My name is Mia and I am 8 years old. Me and my twin sister Lily were born early at 29 weeks and 4 days weighing 2Ib 15oz and 3Ib. I was very poorly when I was born and battled through septicaemia, low blood sugars, jaundice, chronic lung disease and various other conditions due to my prematurity. Lily was also poorly due to her prematurity but was the stronger twin. We spent the first 8 weeks of our life being looked after by amazing doctors and nurses. Without them and the amazing equipment, we probably wouldn't be here today. I would like to raise some money to say a huge thank you to TMBU and the PRH baby units. 

I love running and so I am going to take part in the mid sussex marathon weekend wellbeing miles. I will run in the East grinstead mile on Saturday 29th April, the Haywards heath mile on Sunday 30th April and the Burgess Hill mile on Monday 1st May 2017. 

I would really appreciate people's support and donations however small as they will help to save other babies life's.
