We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

My Grandmother suffered a stroke and lived on for 10 years, completely dependent on those around her.  Her battle was fought for them and their care was unconditional, but incredibly difficult.

A stroke can mean the end of a normal life for the victim and their loved ones.  You can help to make things easier for them by donating to the Stroke Association.

I am competing in my 1st, 2nd and 3rd triathlon in 2016.  Tri 2 and 3 will take place over one weekend - The Sandman Weekender, 17th/18th September. I will debut at Cholmondeley Castle on 26th June.

My training will be long and hard, you can follow my progress on Strava:

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community.
