Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and for allowing me to rattle my virtual charity tin at you.........

As some of you know and others will be surprised to learn, I had a Sub-Arachnoid Brain Haemorrhage ( a type of Stroke )  in 2016 and am lucky enough to have lived to tell the tale!!

It’s taken me a while  to get back to “normal” and with this challenge I shall be new and improved.....I have learnt a great deal over the last 18 months and am a proud Volunteer and Ambassador for this charity.

Brain Haemorrhages and Strokes can affect anyone at any age, sometimes out of sheer bad luck, other times through preventable conditions, like high blood pressure. The Stroke Association do a brilliant job in raising awareness about Stroke Prevention and supporting those affected by the condition.

Fingers crossed, I’m one of the fortunate ones who dodged a dreadful bullet, and due to surgical techniques  only developed in the 1990’s, got fixed. I’m through it ok but hundreds of thousands of people are not so fortunate and are helped by brilliant people in this brilliant charity.

Please donate anything you can and help me along the way by doing so !

You can also text a donation to 70070 and enter the code NTRL47 followed by £2 £5 or £10.
