Paul fought long and hard against this cruel disease.   60 is way too soon to be taken from his fantastic loving family, so I am attempting to swim 60 miles in his memory. I'm a bit of a crap swimmer but have very recently embraced open water and pool swimming (rather late in life, but hey ho!)  so have set myself a challenge of swimming 60 miles by Christmas.  Of course I can't do him justice unless I swim in my lovely 60s flowery hat....and he would have had endless opportunities for a pisstake.  This is for you dear friend .Thank you for taking the time to share my FB post and visiting my JustGiving page.
