On September 3rd I am embarking on a cycling challenge of 1002 miles ( 1612 KM ). The journey takes us from St Malo on the northern coast of France to Nice on the South Coast. Our route crosses the Alps and Alp Maritime and climbing approximately 40724 feet. I would like to raise money to support the work done by the MS Society to find a way to beat Multiple Sclerosis. 

MS is a devastating condition  which I witnessed first hand as my Dad suffered when I was a child. Unfortunately in the intervening 45 years no cure has been found and now my good friend Sherry  a remarkable lady whose husband Marty is a colleague from Canada,  is also suffering.  I find it difficult to convey her courage and the sheer determination she has to remain positive, and enjoy her life, despite her illness. She is an inspiration and I only hope I don't let her down in this fund raising effort and manage too raise some money to help fund the research to beat MS.

The MS Society is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to beating Multiple Sclerosis; providing vital support, information and services to those affected and investing in world class research to find the cause and cure for this devastating neurological condition. With your help we can beat MS.
