Story

On 10th December 2018 my much-loved brother in law, the uncle to my children, one of my son’s Godfather & the daddy to my two nephews sadly died following complications from surgery to remove a Grade 4 brain tumour 16 days earlier.

Brain tumours kill more adults & children under 40 than any other type of cancer, & yet it is the least funded in terms of research & support.

The Brain Tumour Charity is at the forefront of the fight to defeat brain tumours, making a difference every day to the lives of people with a brain tumour and their families. They fund pioneering research to increase survival, raise awareness of the symptoms and effects of brain tumours and provide support for everyone affected to improve quality of life.

I’m not particularly sporty. I try to go to the gym but it often doesn’t happen & I have 4 children (9, 6 & 1yr old twins). My aim of running just one mile every day in 2019 is in theory achievable but in reality I know it’s going to be hard. Please support me by making a donation & in turn supporting the research to prevent other families being affected like mine ❤️
