Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. If you’ve made it this far you probably know me and my story but I’ll tell it again just incase.

This August marks 2 years since I lost my dad to oesophageal cancer after a short 4 month battle where he had all his treatment at the Christie. Just less than 12 months before that I lost my mum to breast cancer after a much longer battle where, again, she had years of treatment at The Christie and at Christie’s outreach based at Wigan hospital. In September I also lost my uncle to cancer and though he didn’t have treatment at the Christie this walk is for him too. I see patients day in and out that are diagnosed with cancer and I’m doing this walk for all of them. I’ll be eternally in debt of The Christie giving me precious time with both of my parents even though the time we got was never going to be enough. I want to raise as much money as I can to fund their vital research so no family has to go through what we have been through. It may only be a drop in the ocean but it’s such an important cause that is very close to my heart.
