To commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day landings, Run to Pegasus is to commemorate and honour the the men that spearheaded the vital D-Day invasion and fighting that took place.

We (193 of us) will run/ walk 62 miles from Tarrant Rushton Airfield in Dorest to Portsmouth. We will then catch the Ferry over to Normandy, run the whole 3 miles along the Caen Canal to arrive at Pegasus Bridge.

On 6th June 2019, we will make their way to the site of another bridge, 10 miles away where The Veterans Charity will unveil a plaque dedicated to the men of 22 Platoon who landed there in no4 glider which went off course.

The Veterans Charity supports veterans of all ages and provides access to support when facing hardship and distress.
