At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

There's very few words that aptly describe the hideous elation of my Kilimanjaro experience.
Hands down - the hardest task I've undertaken.

I climbed to the summit which is 5,895 meters (19,341 feet) above sea level. Higher than the plane I just got to Zanzibar!!

The generosity of you guys has been just fantastic. As a group we have raised over 30k and Flight Centre, our company, will match this. That's a helluva lotta dosh!

I have until 1st December to hit my new target of 2k. So please donate if you haven't done so already - don't put it off, DO IT NOW. It will take you 5 minutes, it took me 6 days to climb Kilimanjaro, and over 10 hours to get to the summit on the last night (5 kilometres of oxygen-less hell)

Thank you all so much - raising this money has made my Kili experience genuinely rewarding.
