RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Peter accidentally drowned aged 20 yrs at Tynemouth beach 31/07/76, it was one of the hottest summers ever. His 7 brothers and sisters are celebrating his memory and raising money on the 40th anniversary of his tragic death.

We are staging a fun walk/pram push from North Shields Fishquay along to Tynemouth Front Street on Friday 29/07/16 at 4pm with RNLI collecting buckets.

We are also holding a fundraising evening at a local club 30/07/16 to support this amazing charity which saves lives along our local coast.
