I've been given a massive opportunity with Transplant Sport UK (TSUK) to represent Team GB & compete at the World Transplant Games in Malaga, Spain in June 2017. The event is to raise awareness around the world of organ transplantation & to save lives. I will be competing at Golf & in the 5K, 1500m & 800m against the world’s best transplant athletes from upto 70 countries. To get there I need your support & a minimum sum of @£2,500. In doing so, it will be your opportunity to contribute towards raising awareness of the NHS Organ Donor Register & transplantation. Don’t forget you can register onto the

My story: 
When I was diagnosed with Blood Cancer, as you can imagine, my whole
world fell apart. The doctors at the time, told me that my life was on a
knife-edge & that I could have gone at any moment. The only hope of a cure was a Bone Marrow Transplant.  The Anthony Nolan Trust searched for a donor via their international database of possible donors. As time ticked away, my health deteriorated to such an extent that I was getting frequent infections, continually being hospitalised, needing frequent blood transfusions & I feared for my life. It was only when a kind stranger was found on the database, living in Germany, that there was a chance that I might get a second chance of a normal life. This took place in July 2012. Since then I have been trying to keep myself in the best shape possible, raise awareness for blood, stem cell & organ donation & improve people's lives. This is my opportunity to give something back to my kind donor & the wonderful healthcare professionals but also to raise awareness of how anybody can do a selfless act of donating blood or a vital organ to save a life. 

All donations go to the TSUK charity to cover expenses (minimum @£2,500 per athlete) associated with attending the World Transplant games in Malaga, Spain. Any surplus funds will go towards the Transplant UK Management Team (including physios & coaches) who freely give up their time to support the GB team.
