I was lucky enough to gain a place in the London Marathon through my fantastic running club Cumberland AC of whom I am immensely proud to be a member! It is not a charity place so I do not have to run for charity. However through the local grapevine I learned of these wonderful people Greg and Jill who tragically lost their little girl Evie after she was born with TOF a little known condition in this country, you can read their story on the Team Evie Facebook page and website. Anyway following their terrible loss they decided to start Team Evie in memory of this immensely brave little girl and were joined by a number of other amazing human beings who work tirelessly to help hospitals and other families who are going through similar experiences to themselves,  "WHAT INCREDIBLY INSPIRATIONAL PEOPLE" was my immediate thought!

 I really wanted to run for a cause that is local to Cumbria, is very deserving and I can see where the money I raise is going to and Team Evie ticks all the boxes and more! Your support no matter how small will be greatly appreciated! (If everyone in my home town gave just one pound that would raise 38 grand!)
