We were walking home from school one day last term when lil asked me about homeless people and how sad it made he feel that they have nowhere to go when we get to go home. She said she cries sometimes when she thinks about homeless people. 

She asked what we could do to help? We came up with the idea of a cake sale. We asked Lils school if we could hold it there. So we will be doing a cake sale there but we would also be so greatful to anyone that would like to donate to a great local cause. 

We met Ele who gave us a tour of launchpad, they look after people that have had troubles in their lives, families and people from all walks of life. 

 Launchpad will help them learn new skills and prepare them for the workplace.
