Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi everyone,  as most of you know I had a life changing stroke in 2013 which has left me severely disabled. I woke up one morning absolutely fine, showered and sat down to dry my hair when I suddenly had back pain. Within 5 minutes I was laying on the bed in absolute agony. I had no signs of a stroke so an ambulance wouldn't come out. My dad got me to A&E, I sat down and got pins and needles in one leg followed by complete paralysis from my ribs down on the right side. I was admitted for further tests which showed I'd suffered a very rare type of spinal stroke. That day changed my life forever, every day is such a struggle, just to get out of bed in the morning and face another day.  I am on crutches, with a lot of Mobility problems but I am not letting this beat me! The stroke association has played a vital part in my recovery and I really don't think I'd of come this far without their help. I am doing this walk for vital funds needed so please please donate and I will do my absolute best to walk as far as I can. Thank you so much. Xx
