On Sunday 27th May, Team CAH will be taking on the Edinburgh marathon (Claire) and half marathon (Angela and Heather) to raise as much money as possible for Breast Cancer Care.
Back in October we all received news that completely shocked us! Our friend had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of Breast cancer just weeks before her 30th birthday. As a young mum she was the fittest and healthiest she had ever been and yet that horrible ‘C’ word had managed to worm its way in.
Her unbelievable attitude, positivity and sheer determination to beat this disease has been truly inspiring despite the gruelling treatment she has endured over the last 6 months.
Breast cancer care is a charity that has provided fantastic support during this difficult period and we want recognise their efforts and show our gratitude by raising as much money as possible to ensure many more people can continue to benefit from this great charity.
