Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year, I'm taking on the Ultimate Challenge – 3 Iron Man Challenges on 3 consecutive days from 19-21st May 2017 and with your help, I'm hoping to raise £10,000 for Friends of the Cancer Centre.

The three-day Iron Man Challenge will consist of three Iron Distance events and I'm already in training seven days a week in preparation for completing a 3.8km swim, 180km bike ride and 42km run on each of the three days.

I am raising money for Friends of the Cancer Centre as it's a great charity that is close to my heart.  My mammy died in 2014 after a short illness and it was only when she died that we found out she had cancer. My mother is my driving force even if she is not with us in person. She was a very special lady who was selfless in her help of those less fortunate and was very understated in the process.  I or no one else could ever replace her. Mammy, unfortunately, lost her own battle with Cancer in 2014 but her Spirit lives on.

This will be the Ultimate Challenge for me but I'm doing it for those people affected by cancer and their families, who face a daily challenge.

You can donate online via my JustGiving page or text your donation by texting TCAS50 £5 to 70070

If you want to join me for part of the challenge, there is a minimum registration fee of £50 per person, per event on each day.
