Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Before the beginning of 4th year I was always planning on doing a big charity event while I had the chance. It took me a while to think of what would be the best possible fundraiser- something challenging, that not many people my age have done. That is when I thought of the marathon.

I will be running from Wicklow Town to my house in Booterstown (42km) on Wednesday the 19th of April in memory of my Mum who sadly passed away in September 2008 after a long battle with cancer.  Cancer affects 1 in 2 people at some stage during their lives .The reason I am doing this marathon is to help those whose lives are currently impacted by the cruelness of cancer and those who unfortunately will be affected someday. Each donation is hugely appreciated no matter how small and 100% goes to the Irish Cancer Society. A little can go a long way. It will not be easy but I know I can do it with your support behind me. Thank you.
