Macmillan Cancer Support give practical and emotional help and support to people who are ill, and to their loved ones, right at the time when they need it the most.

My family has benefited from this support and I want to raise money so that Macmillan can carry on offering this real help to other families, whatever they need.

To do this, I am taking 1 week, starting on April 1st, to walk 109 miles along the Kennet & Avon Canal and part of the River Thames, from Bath to Maidenhead. As an added bonus, I will be starting and finishing my walk by watching Maidenhead United play football (away at Bath City and at home to East Thurrock United).
