I wanted to combine my passion for rugby with my desire to fund raise for Prostate Cancer. I came up with the idea of sponsoring the team I follow £1 for every point they gain in the league table ( 4 points for a win £4, 2 points for a draw £2, 1 bonus point for four or more tries £1 and 1 bonus point for loosing by seven or less points £1 ). I put the idea to Prostate Cancer UK and got their blessing to invite other rugby fans to join me. This page, allows the donations to be made weekly, as and when the teams gain the points. This also helps to show how much money has been raised and the charity has access to the money straight away. It also saves making a big donation at the end of the season.
