GROUP FUNDS ONLY please

Please label donations with the fundraising activity they relate to so that we can monitor success of events. Thank you

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This page is for all GROUP fundraising completed by Wobbleberries East Group 2. Training gifted to the Area and other forms of sponsorship or donations to us as a group will need to be made here rather than in individual JustGiving funds please.

Wobbleberries Challenge is a committment by a group of slightly bonkers, mostly middle aged, wimpy riders to complete a BE80 (British Eventing 80 cm) by the end of October/November 2017. Most of us have never done anything like this ever, some not in the last 10 years and others are working our way up to cantering our horses in an open space as a starting point.

Diets will be started, confidence will be gained, tears will be shed, friends will be made, but we are doing this in memory of Hannah Francis and Willberry Wonder Pony so that the charity can continue the amazing work it does not only donating to research into bone cancer but also making terminally ill children's horsey dreams come true. The brain child of Sally Barr, Wobbleberries Challenge has become an international phenomenon but will only work if people support what we are trying to do, please join in by donating so that we can make a real difference.

We are pretty much all terrified of the actual event, but having seen what Hannah, and other children like her have faced alone with their families, we WILL complete this challenge, as a group, together.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

The Charity was established by talented horse rider, Hannah Francis, following her diagnosis with the aggressive form of bone cancer, osteosarcoma. People all over the world followed Hannah's story which she told through her mascot, Willberry. Tragically Hannah passed away at just 18 years old.
