Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I decided to challenge myself by walking Snowdon in April to raise funds and awareness for "Dementia UK" so that their "Admiral Nurses" can continue providing life-changing care for families affected by dementia. With my mother being a long time sufferer of dementia, it has taken its toll on the family especially when you see yourself losing a little bit of that special person with each passing day.

So when my son "Corey" said that it was something he had wanted to do for a while and that he would help me prepare for the challenge I thought why not  and contacted the Dementia UK Charity . . . so no turning back now.

I have been amazed at how generous people have been and the support I am getting.
