Story
This time last year I had just finished the longest journey of my life. It took 56 hours from the middle of Australia to the middle of Wales.
I got 6 weeks with my wonderful Nan before the Cancer took her. It was the saddest day of my life when I felt her stop breathing under my arms.
Over the years my family have shown the most incredible strength and fought back against all the odds and I’ve never told any of them how much they inspire me. I feel like it’s my turn to try and give something back.
So in 5 months time on September 15 I will be running the Sydney Marathon to raise money for the amazing work that the Bronglais Chemo Unit does for the patients and families of my hometown of Aberystwyth.
If you can spare a few pounds or dollars to stick in the fund, I will be eternally grateful. At the end of the day, none of this shit matters unless we can share it with the people we love so let’s help each other out as much as we can...
