Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are tackling the Ultra Challenge of walking continuously from London (Richmond) to Brighton on 29th/30th May. The distance is 100km/62miles. We are doing this to raise funds for the Guildford Mukono Link, a charity we have been involved with for many years. We know from first hand experience that every donation makes a positive and ongoing difference to the lives of the children in Mukono, Uganda.

The Guildford Mukono Link fosters an understanding between the two communities of Guildford and Mukono, Uganda.

The schools in Mukono lack vital resources, there are up to 140 children in each class. The Link helps to support vulnerable children in each school enabling them to attend school and have the necessary equipment. Other initiatives such as 'Lunch4All' , sports programmes and food growing programmes all have a positive impact on the lives of these Ugandan children.
