Thank you for taking the time to visit my just giving page.
I am excited to climb Ben Nevis with some kind friends and family on the 17th of August in order to raise as much funding as I can in aid of St Andrew's Hospice.
I have supported the hospice from a young age and the work they do never ceases to amaze me. It is Lanarkshire's only specialist palliative care hospice - the total care of patients who require complex system management and/or end of life care. The hospice is open to all, providing free of charge services to patients. The work they provide is absolutely vital to our society. St Andrew's Hospice believe that patients should live as actively as they can, for as long as they can and ensure they have the best quality of life possible. Although the charity does receive some funding from NHS Lanarkshire and other sources, this in no way covers the total running costs. It needs to raise £88,000 per week to continue it's operations and so support from the community is absolutely necessary for the charity to run and continue the provision of these services.
Every little bit of support counts towards this charity and so I ask that you play your part in helping me support those living with life-limiting illnesses. Even the smallest donations count.
Thank you.
