Story
March 2018 will mark the start of another personal challenge up another mountain range in the name of charity. I am planning on scaling 5545m to the foot of the world's highest peak..EVEREST!
This years charity is St Clares Hospice, a local hospice to me and helps care for hundreds of people across West Essex and the East Hertfordshire border. They provide free, compassionate care and support to adults and children with life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers.
Over the past 26 years the hospice has provided support free of charge to thousands of families living with terminal life-limiting illnesses.
The annual running costs are £3.7Million. Every year it has to secure £2.4Million from fundraisers just like me to be able to continue to support those families who need it!
