Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Suddenly on March 24th 2019 my cousin's lovely husband, Brian Coulthwaite died. He loved dogs and supported the Dogs Trust - each time a canine friend stayed in his Lake District pub, he donated to the Trust. In tourist guides you can read how your dog will probably be served first at the Watermill Inn - bowls of water and dog biscuits being the priority, over any owners thirst for beer! So, in Bri's memory, I set up my own "Lockdown London in Levens" on April 26th (the original Marathon day!) - due to a slight miscalculation this turned out to be 31.2 miles, round & round my garden, instead of 26.2! On Sunday October 4th we'll be honouring Bri as I take part in the Virgin Money Virtual London Marathon. This time it will only be 26.2 miles, finishing at the Watermill Inn! Of course, next year, in October I hope to be doing the real thing, the 2021 London Marathon with help from my new alter ego, Brewski, the Marathon Mongrel and my fantastic friend, Gina Pennington.
Let's remember Big Hearted Bri, his love of life & dogs & do some good for our four legged friends too! Woof woof!
