Thank you to all who have donated so far ... I am really proud to have managed to hit my target of £500.  I had 14" of hair cut off today and will be sending it to Little Princess Trust to help make a wig for a child who has lost their hair through cancer treatment.  Megan has said having a wig really helped her and gave her confidence when she first lost her hair so I hope my hair will help another child.

When I found out a teenage friend of our family is suffering from cancer and is going to need chemotherapy, I wanted to do something to help.  I decided to grow my hair for the next 6 months and then have it cut so I could donate the hair to Little Princess Trust to make a wig for a child.  I think all children who lose their hair through illness or medical treatment should be able to have a wig and I am hoping my hair will help a child feel better.
