Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  Thanks in particular to the extraordinary generosity of 180 folk like you, the funds raised for Mencap have exceeded my wildest expectations.  Thank you all so much. I will keep the page open until 18 June.

The first £1,750 goes to Mencap nationally. The excess over this amount (less 5%) is directed to Chorley and District Mencap who support those with learning disability in the community where my brother Geoffrey lives.  And they are great.

The run was awesome, despite the fact that I got unexpected cramp at mile 14, something I never experienced in training.  However, the crowd and the atmosphere were enough to ensure that I finished safely and didn't let you down!  You can rest assured that you will not be asked again for a very long time, possibly ever!  It was completely brilliant.  Another tick on the bucket list!!
