We Fundraise for a Special needs school to Help raise money for a new mini bus

Story

On June 21st 2018, four ambitious golfers played 7 rounds of golf at Enfield Golf Club in North London to raise funds for nearby Oaktree Special Needs School.

Our target is to fund an urgently needed new wheelchair friendly minibus for Oaktree School. The school caters for children between the ages of 5-18 with complex and varying special needs. They are facing the dual challenge of fulfilling the increasing needs of their c. 90 pupils with reduced resources.

Just to ensure this is a real challenge, the golfers will be carrying their own full set of clubs over the 7 rounds, 126 holes,  roughly a 40 mile walk and playing as a four-ball off the back tees. All within the 16.5 hours of available daylight, when a normal round takes 4 hours.

As legs and minds tire through the day we will strive to reflect the schools BEAR values.

Be BRAVE, treat everyone EQUALLY, AIM HIGH, RESPECT each other.
