Now to why i've asked you to click on this link... During lockdown I spent a few months working as a care worker. It is the most physically and mentally exhausting job I have ever had. 

Now more than ever do we rely on care workers to look after our nearest and dearest when we can't. Care workers really are amazing, and Coronavirus has hit them hard. Around 80% of care workers (not in management roles) are paid less than the living wage, on zero hour contracts. To properly care for service users during the pandemic, care workers who are showing any signs of the virus elect not to come into work whilst waiting for their test results (and often have to wait days before taking their test, when demand is higher). This results in time off, unpaid - on an already low wage. Care workers willingly put the health of their clients before their livelihoods. 

This charity helps out care workers in difficult situations, when they have come into financial hardship through no fault of their own.
