My Sister Ruth and I try to do the Marsden March every two years.  The 2020 March was cancelled due to covid though we still had raised some money.  In 2021 we walked  like thousands of others together , on the day of the once again,  postponed official march. We had to work for the money raised the previous year!

As we are able to socialise once again , I am hosting a pop in tea for "Breast Cancer Now".  Most people know our story.  My mum was a true fighter , however sadly she could fight no longer.  It will be ten years since she died on the 21st January 2022.  My sister has been in remission for 8 years now.  I have never been more proud of anyone.  She starter her chemo later 2011 - through 2012.  The most brave remarkable strong individual.    

Due to Covid Charities such as these have lost out on so many donations they are now really struggling.  

The tea will be a pop in from 2-6pm on the 7th August 2021.  Location is my home email for full address.   A suggested minimum entry donation per person is £5.  ( cash please if possible ) and there will be further opportunities to donate, ( eg a raffle ), so please bring along some extra spending money!

  All tea coffee and cakes will be included in the entry price.  Lets hope that the weather stays dry!  Look forward to seeing you then.
