Myeloma is an illness that has had an impact on our employees, affecting family members and close friends. Having the ability to give back something to an organisation that has significantly helped the lives of our employees is so important and we are very grateful to the teams taking part in this year's marathon.

Myeloma is cancer of the bones and blood and it is one of the more rare forms found in patients. When Myeloma was originally diagnosed, patients had a life span of 12-24 months. Now, patients experience between 4-8 years, with some going on for longer.

The research into Myeloma is critical and so we want to raise both awareness and money to help fund part of Myeloma Uk's research and care.
