Pilgrims Hospices is a charity providing palliative care, free of charge, to people in east Kent. For people with a range of life-limiting illnesses, specialist services are provided from our three hospices in Canterbury, Ashford and Thanet, in patients' homes and via community programmes.

Story

  • You'll then be notified when you can collect your bundle from the Old Bank Bookshop in Margate Old Town.

Please note: we are unable to post bundles, collection only.

At its heart, Pilgrims Hospices is dedicated to providing skilled and compassionate care, free of charge, to people living with an incurable illness in east Kent. Their vision is that people with a life-limiting illness are supported and empowered to live well in mind and body, making the most of the time they have. They care for thousands of patients a year, at their three inpatient units in Canterbury, Thanet and Ashford, their Therapy Centres, and in patients’ own homes. As  charity, they rely heavily on donations. The NHS contributes around 25% annually; the rest is raised by the generous east Kent community.
