They say charity begins at home and that’s exactly what’s happening here.... 

For years we have both sat on the sofa on a Saturday evening watching Strictly on the TV but this year that’s all about to change as we take to the dance floor to raise money for two local charities; LOROS and Hope Against Cancer. 

Neither of us have any previous dance experience and so this feels well beyond our comfort zone but having witnessed friends and family undergoing amazing challenges in the name of charity, we both felt it was our time to do something worthwhile and support these incredible organisations (secretly we are both hoping to shift a bit of weight too!) 

LOROS has become a huge part of both our lives over the last 7 years and we have come to learn what amazing services they provide within our community. We have seen friends, family and colleagues access LOROS’ care and we've come to learn how fortunate we are are to have a service like this on our doorstep! We love that this event is raising money for TWO local charities and we want to do ALL that we can to raise ALL that we can.... and of course we will be going ALL out to WIN!!!! 

So please, dig deep and support us in anyway you can - you can make a donation here, you can come and support us on the night or you can just generally spur us on (we are going to need your encouragement!!!!)

So here’s to 8 weeks of training and a terrifying live dance-off on Thursday 2nd April.... we promise we won’t let you down!!!
